The shadows shrouding the physicality was unsettling, only occasional lights that hanged from the ceiling flickered on and off. The walls that used to be shining and clean, now rusted and overrun with vines, making it almost look as if a Jungle was growing over it. Despite the darkness, and lack of power in the labs, an yellow light flicked on, reflecting it's beauty against a pane of glass. The light came from a small, round spherical shaped ball that was rusted and smeared with dirt, it's glass eye cracked by how old it seemed to be. This, was a core. Sunlight from above reached into the depths of the broken down laboratory, squeezing through some of the cracks in the ceiling, falling down to the crumbled floor. The light revealed many things in the shadowed hallways of the lab, debris that had popped out from the walls, and the constant fall of dust. The little yellow space core always woke up to the same sight, but he liked it, it gave him a bit of hope, hope that someday that a human would come and revive the laboratory to it's former, yet strange, glory. Space thought back, trying to remember what it was like when the scientists were still there. He couldn't. He could replace what 'I Don't Want to Leave Here' ~ Chapter Two by ~XxRockinPrincessxX

Space stared at the stuff under his spherical body, his eyes filled with grief and you could tell rather clearly that he was brainstorming. Practically sitting there for hours, thinking of what to do, the childish core never blinked, and ignored the questions and failed attempts at making him feel better from the other cores. He couldn't move, he couldn't pick up things, he couldn't do anything except talk. What did sp- she not tell me? He finally blinked slowly, his eyes glistening with emotion. Wheatley was an interesting partner, he talked a lot, even though Space really didn't reply to his comments and questions. The yellow core was sure he heard footsteps and GLaDOS's voice nearby, but for some reason the blue core didn't seem to noticed since he was too wrapped up in his whole life's story. Besides, they were looking for the Curi, not the lady from the test. "So there I was, sitting in that little box when suddenly, it fell open! Yah! I never thought it would but it did! But since... Ah never mind. Anyway, where do you think your 'Space' would be?"
Wheatley asked, glancing over at Space Core, keeping a steady slide on his 'I Don't Want to Leave Here' ~ Chapter Four by ~XxRockinPrincessxX
Stars, Hide Your Fires
GLaDOS had made a promise to Cave Johnson a long time ago, when she was first created and still had sanity. She told him that she would test humans, but after the fiasco with the mantis-men, she would never experiment on them physically. However, she had other plans. Core transfers, management rails, personality cores created out of living test subjects. She never intended to listen to the lunatic who had thrown back so many of life's lemons after setting them on fire. Soon, Cave died and she was free to do as she pleased.
But one day, six months after Wheatley had destroyed the facility, all of the cores were transferred back into their hum Stars, Hide Your Fires by ~Seihana-Chan

When the Space Core entered his room, he found someone already inside it. She was wearing the normal testing uniform, but, much like Chell's, it was tied around her waist, and she wore a white tank top with the Aperture logo. She had short, strawberry-blonde hair. She was currently sprawled on his mattress, staring at the ceiling.
"Son of an asteroid! What are you doing on my bed?" he asked. She sat up, blinking at him with large eyes the color of a sunset, and instantly flushed bright red.
"Um
I'm sorry?" he said. "There is another bed in here, you know. These are the rooms for the co-op."
"You saved me. T-thank you," she stammered The Initiative chapter 3 by ~Seihana-Chan

When they arrived at the hospital, they led Space and Wheatley to Curiosity's room. Chell turned the handle, opened the door slowly, and let Space in. Space looked over at Curiosity, the comatose Curiosity. He rushed over to her. "What's wrong with her?" Space asked to no one in particular.
"She's in a coma," Anger answered. He sat next to Morality on the bench, who was asleep on his shoulder. "I'm sorry, Space.
"Oh, Hello." Wheatley greeted Anger. "What's wrong with Moral? Is everything alright?"
"She's not feeling well, either. Although, she said she was feeling better. I'm sure she just needs to sleep." Anger said, tucking her hair behi Spacosity Fan Fiction Part 12 by *OsakaGurl708
